Heat-pump planning for Westwood Plateau properties
Hillside and multi-level homes can involve longer routes, elevation changes, zoning and different comfort needs between levels.
We confirm heating and cooling loads, existing ductwork or room layout, electrical capacity, indoor and outdoor equipment placement, line-set route, condensate drainage, controls, noise-sensitive locations and access for future maintenance. This page describes service coverage and does not represent a separate office in Westwood Plateau.
Central, ductless and dual-fuel options
Central heat pumps
For homes with usable ductwork, we review furnace or air-handler compatibility, coil space, supply and return airflow, filtration, controls and backup heat.
Ductless mini-splits
Single-zone and multi-zone systems can serve additions, upper floors and rooms where central ductwork is not practical. Placement, routing, drainage and electrical requirements are planned together.
Dual-fuel systems
A compatible gas furnace can provide backup heat. Equipment matching, airflow, controls and changeover settings must be designed and commissioned as one system.
What we review before recommending equipment
- Room-by-room heating and cooling needs
- Duct condition, returns and available airflow
- Electrical panel, breakers and disconnect requirements
- Outdoor location, clearances, sound and drainage
- Line-set route, indoor placement and service access
- Permit, strata and rebate documentation where applicable
