How we plan furnace installation
A replacement should not be selected from the old nameplate alone. We review supply and return ductwork, static-pressure concerns, filtration, thermostat and zoning needs, venting, gas capacity, condensate and the option to pair a compatible furnace with a heat pump.

A real Perfect Choice furnace replacement
In this Metro Vancouver project, an older gas furnace and storage water heater were replaced with an Armstrong high-efficiency furnace and a Navien tankless water heater. The completed layout opened floor space and kept the equipment and piping organized for service.

Furnace replacement or a heat pump with backup heat?
If you already have ducts, we can compare a gas-furnace replacement with a compatible heat pump and furnace combination. The decision depends on heating and cooling goals, electrical capacity, airflow, equipment compatibility and the installation scope. A furnace replacement alone does not add summer cooling.
If the furnace has an operating fault and you are unsure whether replacement is needed, start with furnace repair in Coquitlam. We can assess the issue before you decide on new equipment. For heating and cooling options, see Coquitlam heat-pump installation.
What to send before your appointment
Include the service address, equipment brand and model, any error code, a wide photo of the installation and a short description of when the issue occurs. For installation planning, photos of the electrical panel and proposed indoor or outdoor equipment locations can also help.
Clear written scope
We explain findings and provide an approval point before additional work. Installation estimates identify the proposed equipment and included work; diagnostic visits are not described as free. Brand names identify equipment serviced and do not imply manufacturer authorization.
Furnace Installation & Replacement in Coquitlam FAQs
What affects a furnace installation quote?
The quote depends on the selected equipment, required duct or return-air changes, gas and venting work, electrical connections, condensate drainage, access and removal of the old unit. We review these items on site and identify the included work before installation.
Can I reuse my existing ducts and thermostat?
They need to be checked for airflow and compatibility with the proposed furnace or dual-fuel system. Existing ducts and controls may be suitable, but the assessment determines whether changes are needed.
Can you review rebate eligibility?
We can compare the proposed equipment and work with applicable program requirements. Check our rebate guidance and official program links; the program administrator decides final eligibility and payment.
Do you provide both installation and repair?
Yes. Availability and the recommended visit depend on the equipment, property and requested scope.
